My name is Vanya, I have always loved crafts, sewing, cooking, baking or anything that has to do with creating things!
I started this blog to show all of the creations I make. Some of the posts are tutorials, so you can also learn how to make the things I make, or where I found how to make them. Some are just photos of my crafts, however if you'd like to know how I made them (if I didn't put a link or anything) feel free to ask me!
I started making jewelry the summer of 2010. I self taught by researching techniques online. After practicing few times, I got the hang of it and was able to make my own designs. I mostly enjoy making bracelets, necklaces and earrings.
I love doing Holiday crafts, as you can see my first few posts are all about the holidays. This year I made my own stockings, again researched online and created my own pattern for them. Then stuffed the stockings with some homemade treats.
I also love to try new recipes, specially sweets. I have made birthday cakes for my friends and family. I plan to make more cakes in the near future, so you will be seeing posts with the cakes I make. My most favorite treats to make are cake pops and cupcakes because there are so many combinations you can make and can be decorated for any occasion.
A lot of my friends ask me how do I find the time to make all of those things? Well... I usually do it when I get home from work, after I've made dinner. Many of the crafts or cooking don't consume a lot of time, so the ones that take a long time I make during the weekend. Most of the times I don't even plan on making treats until the day I make them... unless it's a cake (which takes few days to finish). I think if you love doing something you can always find the time for it, even when you've got a busy schedule.
